Keno is a casino game of chance with a rich and illustrious history. The game that we know and love has undergone remarkable alterations since its original appearance. Gambling historians have traced its history as far back as 200 Before Christ to a Chinese form of diversion referred to as ‘The Game of the White Dove.’ It is a well-recorded fact that a type of keno was played in a bingo-like arrangement on the eastern seaboard right about the time of the massive Chinese arrival at the time of the gold rush.
In its latest style, keno is something like bingo in that both games are based upon numbers. An individual keno card is printed with 80 numbers and the player is able to select as many as she wants. This is accomplished by circling or otherwise marking the numbers using a pencil. Once the bettor has picked the numbers, he/she has to bring the card back to the nice person at the keno booth. The cashier will then provide a ticket after marking down the player’s numbers. It’s up to the gambler to redeem any winning card before the upcoming round starts, so stragglers need to keep alert.
Now that we have covered a little bit of keno’s captivating background and basic rules of game play, you are almost certainly itching to find out where you can play keno on the internet.
