Keno is a game of luck with a rich and acclaimed history. The game that we know and love has experienced incredible changes since its original inception. Gambling historians have followed its background as far back as 200 Before Christ to a Chinese type of amusement referred to as ‘The Game of the White Dove.’ It is a accurately-documented certainty that a form of keno was played in a bingo-like format on the eastern seaboard just about the time of the humongous Chinese arrival during the gold rush.
In its current style, keno is something like bingo in that the pair of games are centered upon numbers. An individual keno card comes with eighty numbers and the player can select as many as he or she wants. This is accomplished by circling or otherwise marking them using a pencil. After the player has picked out the numbers, she has to take the card back to the nice person at the keno booth. The cashier will then provide a receipt after recording the player’s numbers. It is up to the gambler to redeem any winning ticket before the the next round begins, so stragglers must stay alert.
Now that we have covered some of of keno’s appealing background and basics of game play, you are probably itching to discover where you can gamble on keno on the internet.
